Mostly, I love and cherish our family! They are way more important than decorating our home. Keeping a balanced & prioritized life is something that's important to me and is a very good thing!
I have always been a pretty frugal decorator, but now that I am experiencing the recession with a major job loss I really am living by this motto with a twist ~ “use it up, make due or do without and repurpose”. Often I see possibilities when others may see trash.

I am blessed to have a husband who knows how to use more tools than I do. I am very grateful to him for helping me with some of the bigger projects. It is a lot of work, but so rewarding to fix up an old piece of furniture and give it a new look.
Our 2 daughters are doing so many awesome things and I am excited to share this blog with them! It is wonderful to see them making their homes a place of love and beauty!
Also, I have really enjoyed learning & being inspired from other crafty and talented bloggers.
With Love, ~*~Lynda~*~
BTW~My style is a mix of a lot of things that I love ~ up-dated Traditional, French country, Cottage, Shabby Chic & Antiques.
I tend to change my colors every 5 - 8 years. At this time I'm loving 3 shades of blue as my accent colors (light aqua, soft country blue & a little brighter blue called "rain washed"). My base colors are Espresso brown, Oil-rubbed bronze, White, Black & Cream. I always love Mahogany furniture!
